How to modify or cancel RentalCover (and what to expect for refunds)

Before you start

  • Changes/cancellations can depend on where you purchased the protection (direct vs partner).

  • Refund amounts/rules can vary by policy and timing.

If you purchased through Airport Van Rental

If your RentalCover was added through Airport Van Rental during booking, start with Airport Van Rental Support for booking-related changes. (RentalCover may redirect partner-purchased requests back to the partner.)

If you purchased directly from RentalCover

RentalCover’s general process is to log in to your RentalCover Account and choose Modify or Cancel.

Refund timing (general)

RentalCover notes that if eligible and purchased directly, refunds may take 3–10 business days back to the original payment method; credit options may process faster.
