Bring each document and payment item in the form required by the Rental Policies for your selected offer and latest voucher. This may mean an original physical document; requirements vary by rental company, location, driver, and trip.

Check the rules for your rental company: Each rental company sets its own requirements. Before booking, open Rental Policies for the selected offer. After booking, check the latest voucher. After pickup, follow the signed rental agreement. Some Airport Van Rental screens call the rental company the supplier.

Your pickup checklist

Your booking may require:

  • Original, valid driver's license for the main driver

  • Passport or other government-issued identification

  • Payment card that meets the rental company's type, ownership, validity, and available-funds rules

  • Airport Van Rental voucher

  • Rental company confirmation number

  • Flight or travel information

  • International Driving Permit or official translation

  • Proof of address, return travel, insurance, residency, or other supporting document stated in the Rental Policies

Only bring an item because your booking requires it; this list does not replace the rules for your rental company and location.

Check document standards before traveling

On the selected offer, scroll to Rental Policies and open Rental Car Supplier's Policies and Rules.

Example only. Rental company rules and offer details vary. Read the policies attached to your selected offer.

Review whether the rental company accepts:

  • Digital or temporary licenses

  • Photocopies or screenshots

  • Licenses in a particular language or alphabet

  • A license held for less than a stated period

  • A payment card type such as debit, credit, prepaid, virtual, or mobile wallet

  • A card that is not in the main driver's name

Do not assume acceptance. The rules attached to your selected offer and voucher control before pickup.

Make sure the names match

The main driver's legal name should match the booking, driver's license, identification, and any card that the rental company requires in that person's name. Contact Airport Van Rental before pickup if there is a discrepancy.

An additional driver does not replace the main driver. Every driver must meet the rental company's requirements and be added to the signed agreement before driving.

How to prepare for pickup

  1. Open the Rental Policies attached to the selected offer and the latest voucher.

  2. Make a list of every item required for the main driver and any additional driver.

  3. Check names, validity dates, card ownership, and any document standards set by the rental company.

  4. Ask the rental company about any unusual document or payment method before traveling.

  5. Keep the rental company's written answer with the voucher and bring the approved items to pickup.

International Driving Permits

An International Driving Permit generally accompanies the original domestic license; it does not replace it. Whether one is required depends on the rental location, issuing country, license language, and rental company rules shown for the booking.

Prepare evidence before you travel

Save:

  • Latest voucher

  • Rental Policies for the selected offer

  • Written rental company confirmation for any unusual document or card

  • Revised voucher for any corrected driver name

Keep sensitive documents secure. Do not send full card details, card security codes, or unmasked identity documents through ordinary email or chat.
