Only a driver approved by the rental company and listed on the signed rental agreement should drive the vehicle. Do not let another person drive until the rental company confirms that person is authorized.
An additional driver is someone other than the main driver whom the rental company approves and adds to the agreement.
Each rental company sets its own driver rules and is called the supplier on some Airport Van Rental screens. Review the selected offer’s Rental Policies before booking, the latest voucher before pickup, and the signed agreement at the counter.
How to add a driver

Add the driver during booking if the option is available, or ask the rental company how to add one.
Make sure every driver meets the rental company’s age, license, identification, and other requirements.
Ask whether each driver must be present at pickup and whether any payment-card requirement applies.
Before leaving, confirm every approved driver’s name appears correctly on the signed agreement.
If you need to add a driver after pickup, contact the pickup branch first. The person is not authorized until the rental company approves the change and updates the agreement when required.
Fees and payment requirements
An additional-driver fee may apply. The amount, who collects it, and whether an exception applies depend on the selected rental company, location, and agreement.
Do not assume an additional driver is exempt from payment-card or identification rules. Ask the rental company what that driver must present.
Authorization is not the same as protection
Being named on the rental agreement does not, by itself, confirm how every insurance, waiver, or protection product applies.
Review the rental agreement and each separate policy’s driver definitions, conditions, and exclusions. RentalCover must answer questions about a RentalCover policy; the rental company must answer questions about its agreement and counter products.
