RentalCover decides which documents it needs for your claim. Start with your policy reference, signed rental agreement, final charges, and incident records, then follow the checklist in the secure claim form.
Documents commonly requested
Your exact list depends on the claim. RentalCover may ask for:
Your RentalCover reference and policy documents
The signed rental-company agreement
The final rental invoice
A damage, repair, or incident report
Proof of the amount charged or paid
Photos of the vehicle and incident
Messages exchanged with the rental company
A police or authority report, when relevant
Driver identification requested through the secure claim process
The rental company is called the supplier on some Airport Van Rental screens. Ask the rental company for missing agreement, invoice, damage, or incident records.
Check the rental-company terms behind the claim
When a claim involves a rental-company rule or charge, use the document for that stage of the rental:
Before booking: Read the selected offer's Rental Policies.
After booking and before pickup: Check the latest confirmed voucher and its offer-specific rules.
After pickup: Use the signed rental agreement and final rental-company records.
These documents explain the rental-company side of the issue. Your issued RentalCover policy and RentalCover's claim decision control the claim.
Make each document easy to review
Before uploading a file:
Make sure every page is readable.
Include the full document, not only the total or signature page.
Keep dates, names, vehicle details, and charge amounts visible when RentalCover needs them.
Match each file to the request in the claim form.
Add a short explanation if a requested document is unavailable.
The booking confirmation is not the signed rental-company agreement. RentalCover may need both for different reasons.
Review RentalCover’s claim document checklist before submitting.
Protect your personal information
Upload documents through the official RentalCover claim form or another secure channel RentalCover identifies in your claim.
Do not send a password, security code, full card number, or unnecessary unmasked identity document through ordinary chat or email. Follow RentalCover’s instructions about which details must remain visible.
Keep copies of everything you submit, along with the submission confirmation and claim reference.
Who handles each part?
Rental company: Signed agreement, vehicle records, incident report, final invoice, and rental-company charges.
RentalCover: Document requirements, secure uploads, claim assessment, and claim decision.
Airport Van Rental: Booking confirmation or booking-payment records created through Airport Van Rental.
