What is included in the displayed rental price?

Check the selected offer to see what is included, payable locally, or charged only if something happens.

The displayed rental price includes only the amounts and inclusions itemized for the selected offer. A security deposit, optional choices, or charges triggered during the rental may be separate.

Check the rules for your rental company: Each rental company sets its own requirements. Before booking, open Rental Policies for the selected offer. After booking, check the latest voucher. After pickup, follow the signed rental agreement. Some Airport Van Rental screens call the rental company the supplier.

In the current Price Summary, the reader-friendly terms Due Today and Due at Pickup appear as Due today and Due at pick up.

Check the complete price breakdown

Example Price Summary showing rental amount, taxes, amount due today, amount due at pickup, total cost, and Reserve.

The current site labels these amounts ‘Due today’ and ‘Due at pick up.’ Your amounts may differ.

Example only. Amounts, currency, taxes, rental company, and payment timing are specific to the offer you selected.

Before booking, review:

  • The total shown for the selected offer

  • Any amount labeled Due Today

  • Any amount labeled Due at Pickup

  • The currency beside each amount

  • Mandatory taxes or fees listed in the breakdown

  • Included mileage, fuel terms, and other stated inclusions

  • A one-way charge when your confirmed route uses a different return location

Do not rely on a daily rate or a general website statement when the selected offer provides a more detailed breakdown.

Amounts that may be separate

Depending on the exact offer and what happens during the rental, separate amounts can include:

  • A refundable security deposit or card authorization

  • An age-related or additional-driver charge not already included

  • Optional extras or services

  • A rental company waiver or protection product selected at the desk

  • Fuel, charging, or toll services

  • Cross-border, ferry, after-hours, or other permissions

  • A booking or rental change

  • Post-rental fuel, charging, damage, cleaning, toll, fine, or late-return charges

An item belongs in this list only when the applicable policy or signed agreement allows it; this article does not create a charge.

Which document controls?

Before booking, the selected offer's Rental Policies are authoritative. After confirmation and before pickup, use the voucher. After pickup, the signed rental-company agreement controls locally accepted products, vehicle use, and rental company charges.

If these sources do not agree, save the relevant screens and ask for clarification before pickup. If the Rental Policies are blank or omit an important price term, contact Airport Van Rental before booking.

One-way rentals and return changes

Treat a one-way charge as included only when the selected route, price breakdown, Rental Policies, or voucher confirms it. Changing the return location after booking or returning somewhere that was not approved can change the price under the applicable terms.

Review everything before signing

At pickup, ask the rental company to explain the rental balance, deposit, optional products, and any other line item. Make sure the signed agreement matches what you agreed to accept.
