Paying online does not always pay the full rental. The rental company may be collecting the confirmed Due at Pickup balance, a separate security deposit, or an item you accepted locally, but it should explain and itemize the amount.
Check the rules for your rental company: Each rental company sets its own requirements. Before booking, open Rental Policies for the selected offer. After booking, check the latest voucher. After pickup, follow the signed rental agreement. Some Airport Van Rental screens call the rental company the supplier.
In the current Price Summary, the reader-friendly terms Due Today and Due at Pickup appear as Due today and Due at pick up.
1. Compare the payment records
The current site labels these amounts ‘Due today’ and ‘Due at pick up.’ Your amounts may differ.
Example only. Amounts, currency, taxes, rental company, and payment timing are specific to the offer you selected.
Open your checkout receipt and voucher. Look for:
Due Today or Paid
Due at Pickup
Security Deposit
Any optional protection or extra
The currency for each amount
Do not compare only the total on a bank statement; a pending authorization and a completed charge can look similar.
2. Ask the rental company for an itemization
Ask the desk to separate:
The rental balance
The security-deposit authorization or charge
Taxes or fees shown for the booking
Optional products or changes accepted at the desk
Compare each item with the voucher before signing.
3. If the amount appears to be a duplicate
Show the rental company the complete voucher and online receipt. If practical, contact Airport Van Rental from the desk before paying an amount already marked as paid or prepaid. Ask the rental company to record its explanation in writing.
Do not send anyone your full card number or security code.
Which document controls?
Before pickup, the selected offer's Rental Policies and confirmed voucher are authoritative for the booking and payment schedule. After pickup, the signed rental-company agreement controls locally accepted products and rental company charges.
If the Rental Policies are blank or the documents disagree, keep screenshots and contact Airport Van Rental before pickup.
Keep the evidence
Save the checkout receipt, voucher, card receipt, signed rental agreement, and final rental company invoice. These documents help distinguish a rental balance, deposit, optional product, duplicate charge, and temporary authorization.
