Understand the two possible amounts
You may receive:
The underlying event amount from a toll operator or authority
A rental company administration amount for processing the notice, identifying the renter, or handling payment under the signed agreement
Paying or disputing one amount may not resolve the other.
Request the supporting records
Ask the rental company for:
The notice or event details
Date, time, and location
Vehicle registration or other vehicle identifier
The relevant clause in the signed rental agreement
An itemized final invoice
An explanation of whether the rental company paid the event or identified the renter
If you dispute the underlying event
Use the appeal instructions and deadline provided by the toll operator or authority. Airport Van Rental and the rental company do not set that authority’s process.
Do not ignore a notice while waiting for a separate rental company-fee review.
Check for duplicate billing
If you bought a toll product, compare its statement with the rental company invoice. Check whether the same date, time, location, or event appears twice. Send the rental company the toll-product record and invoice when you believe the billing is duplicated.
